Experienced Umpire Progression Course

This course is designed for experienced umpires who wish to broaden their knowledge and develop their umpiring skills regardless of whether they aspire to Premier League cricket and progress their qualifications or just simply to be the best umpire that they can be.

It is available to anyone who has attended other ACO courses or has at least 2 seasons umpiring in the upper levels of a feeder league (Cherwell Cricket League Divisions 1 to 4 and the Thames Valley & South Coast Panels Divisions 1 to 3.

The two-day course covers the regulations common in limited overs cricket, further interpretation and application of Law, nutrition and hydration, management of the match, the field and the players on it, self-management and other practical aspects, techniques for observation, concentration and focus, mental resilience, self-reflection and analysis.

Participants will be required to undertake homework between the two days of the course.
